The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is a national non-profit organization whose purpose is “to create a community in which women and girls can thrive in their mathematical endeavors and promote equitable opportunity and gender-inclusivity across the mathematical sciences.”
The graduate chapter of AWM at UC Davis (gAWM) was founded in Winter 2026 by current President Vidushi Mittal. The goal of gAWM is to build community and support the needs of women and non-binary graduate students in the UC Davis Mathematics Department.
UC Davis also has an undergraduate chapter of AWM, which can be found here.
